Distillery

A blended whiskey produced by Hiram Walker subsidiary, Gooderham & Worts.

Gooderham & Worts rose to prominence during the Prohibition era, exploiting the lack of competition in the US where alcohol production was banned, they regularly traded with bootleggers and smugglers in the US north-east. They admitted to this in 1928 and were fined the princely sum of $439,744. Nevertheless, they carried on, merging eventually with Hiram Walker.

Produced using whiskies distilled at their Peoria site on the grounds of the former Great Western Distillery in Illinois, once the largest in the world.
